Lydia came to the Victorious Faith Refuge Home in November 2006 from the Doe Community, an extremely poor section of the capital city of Monrovia. Her father died very suddenly before Lydia was born and her mother died two days after she was born. Lydia lived with non-relatives until her uncle brought her to the Victorious Faith Refuge Home. Lydia is a very quiet girl and likes to sit alone and write. She is an only child.
