Peter came to the Victorious Faith Refuge Home from the Doe Community of Monrovia, a very poor community in the capital city.  Peter’s father was killed by rebel forces, leaving the mother with no alternative but to beg on the street corners and clean dishes for restaurants. Eventually, she could not afford to care for Peter so he started to live on his own until the refuge home took him in to provide for his needs. Peter is a big helper in the kitchen and loves to cook. He will even cry when he is unable to help. He has brothers and sisters who live in the rural areas of the country.
